Luis Martin successfully defended his Bachelor thesis in Physics Engineering in July 2017.

The doctor Francesc Font begins on September 1st to work with us in our group.

Our group participates in the new funded network: "Spanish Research Network on Cardiac Computational Modeling" supported by MINECO together with other research groups on cardiac modeling in research Institutes in Spain.

Eduardo Moreno has begun in October the phD in our group.

Nikolina Krizanev successfully defended her Master thesis on Advanced Mathematics and Mathematical Engineering in October 2017.

Nine universities and research centers, including the UPC, have launched the Spanish Network of Computational Cardiac Modeling. 'V-Heart SN' will work on the development of a cardiac model (virtual heart) which can adapt to the characteristics of each patient, which will allow to design more effective and secure personalized therapies.

Dafni Giannari has begun her visit to our group in March.
