Katerina Krassakopoulou returns to Greece

Katerina Krassakopoulou from the University of Patras (Greece) came to our group with a Erasmus+ fellowship. She has returned to Greece last week.

The bachelor student on Chemical Engineering Katerina Krassakopoulou came with an Erasmus+ fellowship as intern in our group. She has been working with us about Computational modelling of interactions between immune system and Mycobacterium tuberculosis inside an alveolus. She has learned concepts of programming in Matlab. Integration of Ordinary differential equations and representation in graphics of the results. She has discovered the methodologies of agent-based models and has applied to a particular problem on computational biophysics and she have learned some basic concepts of physiology involved on the infection by Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mtb) and the evolution of the infection inside the alveouli. She has also learnt about immune and inflammatory responses of the human body.

We hope a fruitful future in her career and her live!
